Few things to know

When planning your trip to Laos, there are a few important things to keep in mind. Laos is known for its tropical and monsoon climate, so pack lightweight clothing, sunscreen, and insect repellent. The local currency is Lao Kip, and having some cash on hand is helpful for small vendors and markets. Be respectful of local customs and dress modestly when visiting temples and religious sites.
